It’s time to wrap up my Alexia Foods “Reinvent a Classic” challenge!
If you’ve been reading my blog for the last month you know I am creating a one-of-a-kind french fry flavor for Alexia Foods, along with 20 of my fellow bloggers.
Alexia will pick the top four to go head to head in a consumer vote on Facebook.
The top four will also win a free trip to the Foodbuzz Blogger Festival in November to unveil their creations for sampling.
The winning entry becomes a part of Alexia Food’s french fry line in 2012.
After a month of trial and error, these were the major contenders:
| Parmesan Cheese, Garlic and Basil Russet French Fries |
| Italian 3 Cheese with Herb and Onion Russet French Fries |
| Asiago Cheese and Red Pepper Russet French Fries |
Are you sitting on the edge of your seat in suspense?!
The winner:
| Italian 3 Cheese, Herb and Onion Sweet Potato Crinkle Fries |
| With Asiago, Parmesan and Romano Cheeses |
| and Thyme, Basil and Onion |
Thank-you for sharing this french fry journey with me! And for all your input and help in developing my french fry flavor.
Please let me know what you think! Do you like them? Would you buy them?
