Burger Club: Bobby Flay

The next Burger Club Challenge will be to make and rate any of  Bobby Flay’s recipes. Bobby is a self-professed burger lover (just like me) with his own chain of Burger Palace restaurants and his Burgers, Fries and Shakes Cookbook. With so many burger recipes to chose from I couldn’t narrow it down to one. So the choice is entirely up to you.

Beef is not a requirement. Alternative ones are also welcome.

I do ask that you stick as close as possible to the recipe in order to get a fair rating.

You can find a lot of Bobby’s burger recipes on Food Network and there are also a few on his personal website.

The ratings are based on a four-star rating:

1 Star = Didn’t like and wouldn’t make again.

2 Stars = Liked but wouldn’t make again.

3 Stars = Liked and will make again.

4 Stars = Loved! Will make often.

    I must have picked an older burger recipe, before he opened all those Burger restaurants. I have met Bobby and I really pained me to give him a 2. Shame Bobby, but those green Irish eyes get a 10.

    Ah… I've had his book for a while and it' about time I made a burger out of it… Now just hope I can find the time… :)

    I won't be actively participating as I left this book at my parent's house, however I do love it and the Four Cheese Burger was fantastic. I also really think that his way of punching a little hole in the burger before you cook really helps. I find that ever since I started doing that, my burgers are far superior to the ones my family's used to eating.
