Sadly the closest I have come to swedish meat balls are the ones served at Ikea ( i know you've heard it already) but its the truth...shame on me I know !...HOWEVER, now that i have this incredible recipe I will definitely give it a shot. Reeni the meatballs look delicious! Lingonberry jam and preserves are so good...I live near Ikea and they serve this with their Swedish meatballs. I think you can even order their preserves on line and I'm sure they are not $8...that's pretty expensive!

Thanks so much for the submission! Swedish meatballs have been on my radar of dishes to make for a while but I just haven't gotten around to it. I probably would have just made some cranberry sauce to go with them. Throw all kinds of tradition to the wind. They look fabulous though! Definite comfort food from the comfort queen.
